Sub Agent – Permanent
Boyd Recruitment are currently working alongside a Civils Contractor who are looking to recruit an ambitious Sub Agent with minimum two years’ experience.
Our client is well-reputed within the Scottish construction industry and are recruiting for a key area of their business.
Due to their current workload, they are looking to add a Sub Agent to strengthen their management team.
Dependant on experience, you can expect a competitive base salary (£45,000), plus vehicle, and comprehensive package.
The Job
You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, on-site manager in a client facing role to ensure programme deadlines are met and the client is satisfied.
Daily duties are as follows:
- Processing of permits
- Completion of site diaries, delivery of daily workforce briefings and TBTS as required
- Attending daily/weekly client meetings and reporting back to Contract Manager
- Receiving drawings, reviewing, and reporting changes
- Recording and reporting daily/weekly costs
- Ordering of plant and materials
- Record allocation
- Managing administration
- Ensuring works are carried out in compliance with specifications
The Person
Due to the collaborative nature of this project team-work and good communication is very important to client.
The successful Sub-Agent would ideally have experience of working on large site projects managing multiple sections of bulk earth works and/or perhaps worked on road projects previously.
Having experience of working on NEC3 contracts would be a benefit but not essential to the role.
Ideally you will have the following:
- IT proficient with Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.
- SSSTS
- First Aid would be desirable, and any other H&S qualifications would be advantageous.
- Valid UK driving licence
