Small Works Manager – Civil Engineering - Permanent

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Small Works Manager with a background of working on low contract value civils projects. Project values will range £100k to £1m, and will be high volume. Projects will be based mostly in Scottish Central Belt with working away from home required on occasion. 

A salary banding is in place of £45,000 - £50,000 plus car/car allowance, fuel card, bonus, IT, pension etc.  

The client are an established contractor within the Scottish Central Belt who can provide a strong pipeline of projects throughout the UK and the opportunity to work with autonomy.

The Job

As part of the senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple civils projects mainly in the Scottish Central Belt from inception to delivery.

You will work closely with the Site Manager and Foremen to ensure programme deadlines are met and the client is satisfied.

The Person

Team-working is very important to our client and you must work well with others and take a hands on approach. 

You must have a background in civil engineering, however, it would be beneficial if you have the following:

• Hands on approach
• Independent mindset and ability to solve problems on site
• Team mentality
