🔹 Site Manager – Civil Engineering

Boyd Recruitment are working with a well-established civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for projects across west of Scotland.

The Role

Responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily site operations across civil engineering projects
  • Deliver works in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards
  • Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and materials
  • Monitor progress and report to senior management
  • Resolve on-site issues efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship
  • Liaise with clients and project stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering / groundworks
  • Strong background in infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, foundations)
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence
