🔹 Site Manager – Civil Engineering
Boyd Recruitment are working with a well-established civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for projects across west of Scotland.
The Role
Responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations across civil engineering projects
- Deliver works in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards
- Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and materials
- Monitor progress and report to senior management
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently
- Maintain high standards of workmanship
- Liaise with clients and project stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering / groundworks
- Strong background in infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, foundations)
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
