Site Engineer

Permanent | Full-Time

An established multi-disciplinary construction contractor is seeking a Site Engineer / Quality Inspector to join their team. This hands-on, site-based role combines quality inspection with engineering support, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.

The Role

You will play a key role in monitoring and supporting project quality across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards, while assisting site teams with technical and setting-out support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to monitor the quality of concrete and civil engineering works

• Undertake ad hoc setting-out and dimensional checks as required

• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements

• Identify defects or non-conformances and support corrective actions

• Liaise with site teams to maintain consistent quality and engineering standards

• Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and photographic evidence

About You

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer, Quality Inspector, or similar role

• Strong background in concrete works and civil engineering

• Competent in setting out with excellent drawing interpretation skills

• Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working independently on site
