Roofing Estimator

Boyd Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Roofing Estimator or our client who are a Building and Civil Engineering Company.

Working closely with other members of the Roofing Management team, the successful Roofing Estimator should have a proven track record of pricing for commercial projects in the roofing industry.

The Job

• Attend client meetings.
• Work alongside Management to determine scope of works for estimating and tendering purposes.
• Assisting in the completion of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires.
• Provide written quotations.
• Providing schedules of materials for delivery to sites to allow works to be carried out.
• Liaise with Management team to identify additional works not allowed for in initial tenders and price/recover costs accordingly.

The Person

• At least 5 years’ experience in the roofing industry.
• Proficient in all aspects and types of industrial roofing and cladding systems.
• Knowledge of single ply/ felt systems would also be an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communications, relationship-building, mathematical and IT skills.
• Enthusiastic, approachable, and creative personality.
• Able to approach challenges constructively and work with others to give the best possible customer service.
