Freelance Sub Agent – July Start - Working away from home
Boyd Recruitment are currently recruiting a freelance Sub Agent for a Civils Contractor who have a large water project in the West of Scotland. Ferry & accommodation provided.
They are currently looking to add a Sub Agent for 4 months minimum to enable successful delivery of a high value water project.
The Job
The project involves the construction of a new combi-piled quay wall with associated RC works as well as fender replacement, dredging and shoreside M&E Works.
- Monitoring works on site to ensure compliance with Client’s specification
- Assisting Foreman with procurement of key site materials and arranging delivery to remote site
- Daily briefing/liaison with operatives and sub-contractors
- Review sub-contractor measures against works completed on site
- Produce detailed RAMS for works and review sub-contractor RAMS
- Liaise with Client and key stakeholders over site progress and planned works
- Site Inductions
- Document/drawing control and uploads
The Site Hours - Mon 0800 – 1900, Tues-Thurs 0700 – 1900, Fri 0700 – 1500
Weekend working will be required on a rotation basis with other staff on site.
Sat/Sun hours are 0700-1730.
The Person
The successful Sub Agent would ideally have marine experience.

- SMSTS
- First Aid (not essential)
- Appointed Person/Lift Supervisor (not essential)
