Civils Supervisor
Boyd Recruitment are currently recruiting a Civils Supervisor for an established civil engineering contractor. Our client has been in operation for over 30 years and work across various sectors including commercial, utilities, industrial and residential.
They are looking to add a Civils Supervisor to oversee earthworks, RC and shuttering. You must have a strong civil engineering background with good man management skills.
The Job
As Civil Supervisor you will be responsible for the supervision of site labour and ensuring daily operations run smoothly
Duties include:
- Working closely with the Contracts manager, reporting on quality, efficiency & health & safety.
- Carrying out toolbox talks
- Upskilling existing members of staff and being involved in recruitment of new staff
- Completing paperwork per project ensuring the contract manager is fully aware of each project’s status.
The Candidate
The Successful Civils Supervisor will have:
- Significant civils experience
- On site delivery experience
- A full UK Driving licence.
Desirable but not essential
You will be:
- An excellent communicator
- Well organised and focussed on meeting client expectations
