Framework Manager Buildings & Civil  Engineering

Boyd Recruitment are working with one of Scotland’s largest contractors in the energy market. Due to expansion and promotion, they are looking to engage another manager into the energy division.

The successful person will be a project manager / senior site manager keen to manage multiple small to medium projects across the central belt.  With projects depending on outages, delivering projects in a timely manner is key – as is stakeholder management.

This role will require a large amount of travel across the central belt of Scotland, liaising with clients and stakeholders. 

Project values will range £500k to £2m, however, it is not necessary to have Small Works experience as our client is happy to support individuals in learning their way of working.

A very competitive salary banding is in place, as is package and car allowance.

Our client are an established civils contractor within Glasgow who can provide long term career progression and a varied portfolio of projects.

The Job

As part of the management team, you will be responsible for delivering buildings and civils projects in from inception to delivery.

You will work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure programme deadlines are met and the client is satisfied.

Team-working is very important to our client, and you must work well with others and take a hands on approach to solving problems.  

A main contracting background is beneficial and civil works is advantageous
